I started figuring this out a long time ago. I used to be an ardent viewer of the Muscular Dystrophy annual telecon with Jerry Lewis since the 60s. I used to stay up all night watching the entertainment. Got excited to see the rising tote board. Every. Year. Yet here we are 50 years later, and billions of dollars raised, and still no cure.
Yes, I remember those, but I was young and did not totally understand. But now I do.
