not sure how exactly to express it, but i’m getting this vibe VERY quickly inbound… particularly with diesel stocks dwindling and prices going through the roof at some point, truckers will say “no more. we ain’t driving.” shutdown everything in the midst of a hot summer…

there’s a saying in the prepping community; 2 is 1 and 1 is none. do with that what you will.

@17commentary - I work in logistics.
I talk to our drivers daily.
I’m also in Canada where our fuel prices are through the roof.
Car/van/SUV drivers are picking & choosing the drives/jobs they’ll take.
If gas is more than the job pays - they say “no”.
Our truck drivers are worse off.
I’ve NEVER seen diesel prices higher than gas.
One driver over drafts his bank account monthly to pay for fuel in order to keep working.
I know that makes no sense but that’s his philosophy.
He’s never done that before in his career.
Sucks big time...
