That’s right. That’s why it’s called the Armor of God, we stand firm in his New Covenant with us. With the tools (or armor) he gives us.

I shared this to show that the Armor of God was more than repentance and loving one another in respose to the post above. However, God does expect us to try to be righteous, Matthew 5:48.
