I believe this story.
I believe because when I was 7 and my stepfather would come into my room to hurt me, I would pray really hard for Jesus to save me.
My first real prayer was, "Please Jesus, take me to Heaven so I can be with my Daddy."
I would hear the heavy footsteps on the stairs, see the crack of light as my bedroom door was opening...
I do not remember him hurting me...but I can tell you what Heaven looks like.
So yes, I believe.
