Popes and catholic priests elevate themselves to be on the same level as God, saying they can "forgive" your sins by having you chant "hail" (i mean, really? Hail?) Mary 10 times to 1 Our Father.
These priests are called "father".
We have only ONE father. The Lord God in heaven.
We have direct communication with Him. Jesus saw to that when he willingly gave his life to be our bridge back to God.
No priest, saint or any other entity necessary.
