I don't think Chris knew Jada was ill and that's why her hair was shaved off. Will was laughing until he looked over to his wife and saw her tearing up. That's when he got up to slap him. I think Will will regret it once he realizes Chris didn't know. They both need to apologize to each other. They were both at fault.
