They don't teach cooking anymore? I took home ec. in high school.

Im 54 and I went back to school to get an AD in Applied Science and my chef certificate, I was amazed at the majority of the class (most just out of HS) that did not know how to crack an egg. I find that to be sad. When I was 14 I was putting a homecooked meal out of the fields on the table for the family. At the time of graduation the pandemic hit and restaurants closed and my dreams of a chef was scrapped. I pray I get an opportunity to teach others how to cook and bake from scratch.
