It is a bitter black pill to have to swallow, to be forced by a preponderance of the evidence, to realize that the government of the nation you swore an oath to and believed in, has been using you, your buddies, and our young men, and now women, as instruments of pure evil, for decades. Add to that the fun of discovering that 80% of what you "learned" about both World Wars was propaganda.
