Do not act like we are to busy, cannot be bother, or they should have opened their eyes soon

You are right in what you are saying here. We do need to be there for them, to comfort and to show the way forward but can't we just let them bash their heads against the wall a few times, maybe several times ,you know the ones whom were really a pain in the ass ? Can't we ? Then comfort them and show the way forward, maybe with a few trips and tumbles along the way.
