A secret project was conducted in the laboratory in Kharkov, under the control of the United States of America, in which it was studied how bats can transmit diseases to people, said the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

"Russia's Ministry of Defense continues to study the documents it received from associates of Ukrainian laboratories on the implementation of military-biological programs on the territory of Ukraine, and under the leadership of the United States and its NATO allies," Konashenkov said.

According to him, Russian military experts on radiation, chemical and biological protection studied the original documentation, which revealed details that the United States was conducting a secret project in Ukraine to study the way bats transmit diseases to humans . These researches were conducted in the laboratory in Kharkov.
