Florida Not Sending National Guards to Biden’s State of the Union

Ron DeSantis has rejected President Biden’s request for National Guard assistance at his upcoming State of the Union address in DC.

“Last week, the Biden Administration requested the assistance of State National Guards to deploy to Washington D.C. I have rejected this request,” DeSantis tweeted out Monday.

Security has been heightened in the US capital amid fears of a Jan 6 repeat... nothing to do with a possible convoy or questions off script.
