You Nailed It! The main problem with green technologies is the same now as it was then. Greed gets in the way of real innovation. Green energy will always be designed to underperform and just outright have a short lifespan. You have to pay a real premium to virtue signal that you care about the environment and until they figure out how to hang a meter on it, it is never going to be a real option.

Its the same with the medical industry. Lots of real cures out there instead of big pharma and their "cures".
