STORM EUNICE: “RED ALERT” panic across London - thousands in England without power

Storm Eunice is set to batter the UK with 100mph “sting jet” winds that sparked rare “red alert” warnings, having already left 14,000 in Cornwall without power, and severely disrupted air and rail travel.

The Army has been placed on standby for what could be the worst storm in 32 years arrives, as hundreds of schools have been closed and all trains suspended in Wales.

The Environment Agency have issued 10 severe flood warning and urged against travel to coastal areas for dramatic photo ops, as it is “probably the most stupid thing you can do”.
