How do you explain John 1?
What is confusing? It speaks of John coming to prepare the way for Christ. And of Christ becoming flesh=man.
I will say the book of John is not a favorite of anyone really, the other books are easier to read. John 1 brings in the OT with the NT, it brings in the very beginning of the Bible in Genesis, and provides promise for all mankind as many of the NT and especially the gospels do.
What is your question about John 1?
