Get a LG stock pot.. its your friend. put at least a third of meat in it for that many.. always cook more than you'll think you'll need.. ❤️
Get a long nonstick electric griddle for pancakes, toast, french toast, toad n hole, sausages, patties, grilled cheese quesadillas, etc bigger the better/faster.

extra large casserole dishes

baking sheet meals, side veggies

have some ExTrA LARGE mixing bowls and serving bowls

extra pizza stones and cutters

turkey roaster for large meats

cook ahead meats on slow days

extra paper plates for busy days

extra paper towels for extra spills..

dont buy new furniture.. less stress with hand me downs ❤️

amish usually have larger family recipes..

limit sugar (watch gremlins youll understand.) 😊 ❤️

Amish quilts are very expensive, I have one my mother purchased many years ago. There are still rural quilt clubs and quilt makers also. (the design, thats what makes them expensive). Simple sewing skills and anyone can make some of the simple blocks and make a quilt top in a day or two. You can buy batting but I prefer blankets, wool or the old blankets that had the satin edge to put in the middle, a large king size flat sheet for the underside, tie it together like they used to do instead if quilting which takes forever and you will have a cozy quilt just not as costly. Thrift store is great for sheets and blankets to keep the cost down. Then all you do is simply sew the edge to create the quilt sandwich.

Dont want to rain on your parade but Amish made quilts are very expensive. I priced one less than a month ago and it was for a full sized bed close to 2k. I don't mean to shed bad light on their quilts they are truly amazing works of art but kinda expensive. Crocheted blankets are warm also. You might want to ask some of the local churches that have sewing circles, they might help.
