I am very sorry to hear that. Nobody should be treated that way. You should never be called an idiot for your beliefs as well as vice versa. Difficult and I am guilty of it too at times. We will all need to find forgiveness in our hearts at some point and on some level.

He is gaslighting you and trying to make you think your wrong. Im sure your not the first person he has done this to. What else does he call you an idiot for? Stay strong, he is the idiot.
