This is my Nazi uncle, desperate to assert some kind of kinship claim with me. By eliminating all of my worldly familial allies, they'd hoped that Uncle Eugene could wrest control of my family's fortune. They'd hoped that by putting me in psych wards, I'd seem crazy if I ever came forward with what they did to me and my family.
