What if long ago a device was created that gave off an electrical dampening field that has affected us all since conception. And they now have our brainpower at such a low level that our inherent connection to spirituality is the only thing in their way to complete domination over us.
So they do things like you're suggesting to keep applying pressure while they inject our veins to engineer the biological connection out of us.
That's why they always use the suggestible and/or mkultra victims. They just don't have enough power to override most people's thoughts.
Yet.
On the other hand - If the switch that is thrown shuts off the dampening field, humanity would have an instant change in behavior. - GAME OVER -
