I believe it's because
people are terribly put-off by the "Queen" title
although she's explained a zillion times
that in Canada "Queen" means
Commander-in-Chief of the MIlitary.
So she's Head of State & Queen/Commander-in-Chief.
However, I get that "Queen" has a revolting connotation
