there are many queens. to your point...this may have nothing to do with a king...just a possibility.

I always neglect to think “chess.”
In the context of chess, technically, the king never actually gets taken out. The king is “cornered” (check mate).
So maybe there is a king or maybe the king is the entire Cabal and checkmate is when they run out
of moves? 🤔
