I would love to see what's in there. My history spidey senses are tingling. And I'm sure there are items in there they'd rather not reveal to the world. I wonder if they know what happened to the Amber Room, or the original version of the Bible, the names of the hundreds of noble families they extorted for power and wealth, the names of children fathered by popes. The whole celibacy thing was a power grab--if a man who joined the church was forbidden to father heirs, his money and power got funneled back into the Vatican. It was never about faith. I've never believed for one minute that Jesus was a single male in an Israeli Jewish community in His 30s. I call bullshit. Although if He ever does come again, He has GOT to show me the trick with the wine!
