One theory: Many of the vaccines distributed thus far have really been placebo. All the pharma grifters still make the same money, and it makes the vax seem much safer than it is—which allows you to keep vaccinating people as fast as you can produce more doses.
Also, many people who claim to be vaxxed have actually bought fake credentials, so that would reduce demand for genuine product.
