CNN chose not to acknowledge that conservative Republican Tim Scott was the FIRST black Senator elected from the south since reconstruction.
So, a black, conservative Senator doesn't count.
Well, even though Cynthia McKinney is Democrat, I think she has been the only HONEST black Congressperson from the South.
