Images have been posted online showing downtown SanFrancisco looking more like a war zone than a high-end shopping area in the run-up to the biggest shopping period of the year. Countless stores are boarded up amid a spate of ‘mostly peaceful’ mass lootings in the city, which have seen luxury stores such as Louis Vuitton targeted.
The photographer took to Twitter to share her pictures, commenting with: ‘A shiny example of what a progressive-run city looks like’.
To be fair, this does tend to happen when you legalize crime.
