I worked with Mel in 1999 on the set of The Patriot. When they started with all the negative press, it made no sense to me. After working closely with him and hearing him interact with people on set for over 5 months, I have to say that 95% of the crap you hear about him from the fake news, is just that, crap.
Mel is not crazy. He's enlightened.
