🔴YouTube hides ‘dislike’ counter in potential WIN for White House

YouTube has officially hidden the thumbs-down counter on all videos citing “dislike attacks” the company said were targeting small channels.

Matt Koval, YouTube’s creator liaison, said people engaged in such coordinated attacks were doing so “because they don’t like the creator or what they stand for,” before adding “It’s much less likely to cause stress and embarrassment if the count isn’t visible to the public.”

Critics have pointed out the White House has much to gain from the new policy, as live-streamed speeches from officials often swing to the negative in the like/dislike ratio.
