Hubs & I have been in a friendly disagreement for decades over this issue.

I NEVER thought NASA made it to the moon, never. Everything on TV looked so fake...

and we weren't used to TV because they were just then getting into poor folks' homes (my folks' home). Grandparents had one but we did not.

Nope. IMPOSSIBLE that they could have done that with combustion engines... They could never make it past the Van Allen Belt.
