Did you see this now-deleted tweet from a media coordinator at CNN stating that Rev. Warnock is GA's first black Senator.
CNN chose not to acknowledge that conservative Republican Tim Scott was the FIRST black Senator elected from the south since reconstruction.
So, a black, conservative Senator doesn't count.
I look forward to the day when positions aren't quantified with race or gender.
