New York City waste disposal workers are not working completed shifts in protest over Mayor Bill de Blasio’s jab mandate for all state workers.
When asked what’s going on, Union leader Harry Nespoli responded: “The mandate’s going on. I disagree with the mandate because… we have a program in place right now - you get the vaccination or you get tested once a week.”
De Blasio has given city employees until Friday 5pm to get jabbed [and a $500 reward] or be placed on unpaid leave.
