We can still pray for him.
He's SHOWN us all what he thinks of us & the world around us. Its not our job to persuade him otherwise.
Its a waste of breath, unless you're SENT by GOD's SPIRIT, but...
Jesus COMMANDS us to VISIT the SICK
& "in prison", so please don't ignore anyone.

Just UNDERSTAND,
GOD is sending us to LEARN,
not to be a "know-it-all".
I forget the name,
but in a time of famine,
there was a reformed alcoholic
in Britain who'd spend most of his income
on fresh bread, holding warm loaves
under his coat.
Beggars & children would flock to him,
and he would be able to draw them to sit
& eat & in time,
be in touch w/ benevolent people.
It MIGHT be the guy who started
the Salvation Army,
but the reason I remember the story is b/c
THIS is WHAT had made his "evangelism" so
effective,
"I am just ONE beggar telling ANOTHER
where to find the BREAD."
