I don't think the shoes are a big deal. Women do that when the ones they want to wear to an event are uncomfortable and probably new.
Yeah we're looking for details which is good. But we still have to think critically. The beige ones are probably comfy for all the walking she had to do. Think about her age. I'm 56 and at the point in life IDGAF about looks going for comfort when I can. Then wearing the blue ones that matched her outfit for the actual ceremony. Makes total sense to me. May not have thought of swapping for photo ops like this one. I mean she was VFLOTUS for 8 years and tried to shake hands with the marine when walking by. Something she should definitely know protocol for.
