Here is a real truth inarguable. This world is Satan's, we were told that and that everything on this earth is his realm of influence. Everything they hold over our heads and lord over us for control... is the devices and tools of this world. Why are we struggling so hard to preserve them? Do you realize that to God, this would likely look like us crying out
"Please...save us father, but please we beg of you...let us drag all the vices, traps, and snares of Satan that we enjoy along with us so we don't lose our houses and McDonald's restaurants, and the cigarettes and booze, oh and the pot too! But please God send us relief father...we beg of you!"
You can't stir a spoonful of yogurt into a gallon of milk to hide it and keep that concealed...it eventually makes the whole gallon into yogurt. Sin works the same way...you can't "keep a small manageable portion" of sin in your pocket and dump the rest of the stuff without what is in your pocket barring you from entry into the holiness.
If the truth shall kill them, let them die. Always learning & growing so never the same. Merely a humble student & no master.
The only way is God...man cannot make a solution to the problems man creates and we by nature can't quit creating problems so need God and not Satan's satiating slow death addictions to maintain us and the very second the entire earth dropped his devices...then the world would know peace and prosperity with God. We are clawing tooth and nail to keep Satan's stuff with us but begging for salvation with all of it in tow? Back up and think about how this must look to the Father?
