Not a side effect, per se. The shot has been attacking some people's liver (where vitamin B12 is stored) and the immune system in all. Any virus that is dormant in the body can be "activated" when the immune system is run down. That includes EBV, Varicella (shingles), and other infections (viral or bacterial).
Make sure you include Vitamin B12 as part of your protocol. Many people are deficient. Take METHYLcobalamin B12 in tablet form (like Jarrow Formula). At least 5 mg. twice a day. Make sure you have folic acid in your diet as well.
