I used to like Cat Stevens, until he converted to Islam in 1977 and left his musical career in America, which had been very good to him, to devote himself to educational and philanthropic causes in the Muslim community. Muslim Community was actually in Iran. He endorsed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s death fatwa against Salman Rushdie. I refuse to listen to any of his music. He's a pig, in my book.
There is light and truth in all paths, whether they lead one way or another. It's a matter of choice what someone extracts from them. As in life. If you are an obedient follower to yours, don't worry about others. His music speaks from the Light (wisdom,) imo.
