Before it was announced, a friend, 29 years old, got deathly ill and was hospitalized. The doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. She had trouble breathing and lost her sense of smell. They finally treated her for pneumonia and sent her home. She said she thought she was going to die. She lost so much weight that she just looked so frail... Said her neighbor made homemade black elderberry syrup and she kept drinking that. Finally, she started getting better. But she still has no sense of smell. And now we know what it was...
