Hmm... Yes, Soros did dump a lot of money in TX - like he did in EVERY state that held state-level elections... he always does. BUT those donations prop up DEM candidates, no one else. If you actually believe that Abbott took Soros money for his campaign - you need to put down the Kool-Aid.

It is terribly disappointing. I fully understand that some falsehoods will escape the due diligence of vetting information but all too often those concerned with making a name for themselves don't even bother to search for the truth. The original post is proof of that. As for the crisis on the border -
- Yes, Abbott is very concerned (as we all should be),
- he is getting no support from DC (in fact- Biden just increased the limits),
- it is out of control (the immigrants are overrunning Border Patrol and law enforcement),
- the increase in crime rates is being hidden,
-and unless the border is closed and managed appropriately, we as a nation will suffer from this for decades to come.

One only need look to countries like Germany to understand how the massive influx of immigrants creates far more burdens than benefits for everyone.

So then you agree with Abbot that all donations are useful.
That's the way I see it.
What else can he do?

All donations can be useful if used with integrity and transparancy for the good of all. The problem here is the insinuation that Abbott received donations from Soros, which he did not. Had Abbott gotten any Soros money, I like to imagine he'd have given it to Border Patrol agents and Law Enforcement as a token gift of appreciation. That would boil Soros's blood.
