Very exciting to think of all kinds of possibilities - hopefully, the truth will be shared to us later on.
And it is fun to "see" family resemblances as well as similar personality traits when we discover the lineages to a person.
Feels like a Treasure Hunt , ha.
I think we are finding out slowly the bloodlines and the machinations behind them to continue the "family" lines.
And now, (and in the past ) many novel and scientific ways can be applied to keep a dynasty alive. And what about cloning ? Could that count as "family" lineage ?
