All it takes to see how a mail-in voter voted in the CA recall is to shine a weak cellphone flashlight through the back of the envelope.
Suppose you wanted to use this tiny flaw to throw out the ballots of people who voted the wrong way. What would you do?
You would push hard to encourage voting by mail & extend the voting period. And you’d push to allow ballots to come in for days afterwards (7 days in CA!)
If 1 corrupt person can check 1 ballot manually every 10 seconds, that’s 360 per hour or 2,880 per day. If the election voting period lasts *4 wks*, then 1 bad apple can process 57,600 ballots.
What if 4 people worked just *one* diligent 8-hr shift, flashlight-sorting a pile of 50-50 votes?
Exploits like this exist. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.

Only explanation I can come up with as to why democrat voters are blind to how this will abuse them, is that they've been totally trained to look only at the immediate goal. To let the end justify the means.
Can't they see that they will have no choice at all, even in a dem vs dem contest? Does anyone really think Biden won the primary over Bernie, for example? There's a reason that most people in communist or totalitarian countries have never voted. They know that it will always be 95% endorsement of the party, no matter how they cast ballots. It's not apathy, it's hopelessness.
