1/2 - After calling dozens of times and being hung up on without being able to speak to anyone, District#16, I finally spoke to an officer. I asked for a supervisor, we discussed Veronica's situation, he refused to do a welfare check or ask for a welfare check. His continual response "We have had police at the hospital all day". I said that is NOT a welfare check. I pointed out that out 5 times. I told him I am requesting a welfare check on Veronica Wolski, I am a nurse from CA and I have ICU experience and I can concerned for her welfare. He reiterated police have been there all day, I reiterated that is not a welfare check. I stated the hospital hung up on Veronica's attorney, they are ignoring the POA who has an ambulance and a doctor willing to remove Veronica from the hospital - the hospital is refusing. I explained Veronica is near death because of medical neglect. I again asked for a supervisor, he said, "Nope, don't think so" and hung up.
