This was more or less the prevailing vision of America that was taught when I was a child. Sweet land of liberty. Opportunity. The American Dream.

Written by a "liberal progressive", Dean Alfange. Today's illiberalism on the left is the antithesis of a humanitarian view of the world, yet they still claim to stand for the rights of the people. It is now the vision I see returning to America, this time carried by the patriots who are reclaiming conservative politics from those who refused to uphold our values, and catered to corporate and global interests.
