I think one of the reasons it's difficult to get people to wake up is because they don't feel that what's going on in the world really affects their everyday life. I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say, "why should I worry about what's going on in DC or with the audit, it doesn't affect me or my family and nothing is going to change, so why bother?"
