Screaming in terror as they were shot dead, but they were filled with joy? I need someone of greater faith than I to explain this one to me. Frankly, I think our God, who I love with all that I am, can act (or fail to act) in very cruel ways. I don’t understand how those who risked everything to be faithful can be “rewarded” with such painful, horrible deaths. I need someone to please help me to understand God’s mercy in this case. 💔😢
