Nice photo-shop and a convenient lie. This is not part of the 33rd Degree Initiation but since no one wants to do real research - we'll just keep passing along divisive crap like this.
Can you please explain why you believe this is a photo-shop and a convenient lie? What information can you provide about the 33rd Degree Initiation?
The image has been altered - the veil was added which is noticible when opened with any photo editing software. The Compass and Sqaure is not of the Masons. Neither the Collar nor the Apron are of the 33rd Scottish Rite - both the colors and embroidery are not 33rd Scottish Rite. None of those imaged here are wearing the appropriate headwear. Swords are not part of the ceremony -which is performed during the Annual Meeting of the High Council and which consists of an interview and ends on a handshake. Seriously - if you want to know what it really entails, talk to a Mason. Stop believing everything you see and do some actual investigating for yourself.... the truth about them is not on the internet, it is carried from one person to the next through words and the Bible.
To Know you just have to ask..."
I appreciate your response and the information. I will continue to research and agree we should think for ourselves.

There is a tremendous amount of lies about many things on the internet, especially about the Masons. Ignorant minds assume the lack of information automatically equates to evil or sinister - neither of which are the case here. There are good and bad individuals in any group but that is a reflection on the indivual, not the group. Find one, Ask one. They are reluctant to 'volunteer' information but are always willing to answer questions.
