Sad what drugs do to ppl, Nana has seen plenty of it, my deceased Ex was a drug addict/alcoholic & I can tell you from experience that it is not just sad for the person doing them but also for everyone else in their lives, especially their children who never really come to grips with why their parent doesnt love them enough to stop it.
There is also a point where they have fried their brains so much and to such a degree that they are not recoverable unless med/beds will be able to fix em.
