Worshipping God, living simply - I raise kids, animals and gardens. My tractor is my peaceful place. Eyesight fading but faith strong.

Spent the weekend pulling out burnt up summer garden and laying out for late peas and fall crops. If you aren't busy, it's a great time to learn or practice some self sufficiency!

Praying for all the hurts of the world and trusting in the ONE who holds it in HIS hands!

Be well, be busy, look up and be blessed!

I have a garden & I'm also experimenting with growing things in a friend's greenhouse
Yes, here in southern Arkansas it got hot & dry the past few weeks but I kept persisting & watering & several things have come back lol

It's a good time to do things close to nature - makes you appreciate the Creator & what you can do to learn from creation

We built a cattle panel "high tunnel" to have for fall and winter, the in ground gardens were rough this year and not very fruitful. Still, we tried and learned. Praying we get some rain and good fall growing weather - Good luck in your growing neighbor!!

It's interesting because I saw someone else mention using those cattle panels both as a kind of wall to keep some of the varmints out 😛 as well as something for the plants to grow on or up against
Good luck! 👍

P.S. I have a garden plot that's fenced & roofed but the moles are coming in under the fence! - even though I have raised beds I've had a time with them & bug pests this year (I try to be as organic as possible, so I don't spray with pesticides)
