The FDA has not approved Ivermectin (or HCQ) for the treatment of Covid-19. That’s because, if they did, they wouldn’t be able to approve the use of an experimental vaccine for the treatment of Covid-19.

The other point is that Ivermectin is an over the counter drug so it really doesn't matter what the FDA says. It is approved for other uses and MD's can use it for covid-19 based on their medical judgement.
