We are breathing it in, however, we have countermeasures available to us. You can take boron supplements ( inexpensive) to disable the nanotech. Wash your clothing and sheets with some added Borax too. It makes them go haywire and want to leave the body, like what sonar does to whales and dolphins when the beach themselves. This frequency also works to do the same. Play it about 3 times a week so you stay feeling like you and not a remotely controlled drone. AND, Zeolites AV helps the body to more quickly grab up the disabled nanotech and what has not attached to the nervous system yet and flush it out quickly.

Question, will they most frequently be eliminated via the skin, bowels, or urine?
I understand a borax hot bath drives them out through the skin. I know this frequency disables them. I would imagine, do not know, that the immune system will treat them like it does any heavy metal, which is why I also like to regularly heavy metal detox with the zeolites AV. Zeolites can pass the blood-brain barrier to clean out the brain of any metals and is peed out within 6 hours. I hope this helps.
