The four Capitol police officers, unanimously, say they were not offered the training or material necessary to confront the insurgents who entered the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The images of the "Bodycam" have been shown. of one of the officers where it can be seen that in the end this officer lost consciousness due to suffering a heart attack and was about to die.
What is not true, and is what the Republican Kinzinger was explaining, is that the insurgents carried firearms or any other type of weapon to harm those who were trying to prevent the entry of the insurgents. The only thing that can be seen in the video is that they released a gas that prevented them from being able to breathe but it does not look very good if the riot police launched it but it bounced or it was actually launched by one of those there.
