- Glyphosate depletes the beneficial human gut bacteria and is associated with inflammatory bowel disease and increasing rates of bowel cancer.
- The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) found glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen, particularly associated with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
- Glyphosate-based herbicides potentially affect bee microbes and contribute to decline of bee populations.
- Many common breakfast cereals already test higher than the 1993 Environmental Protection Agency limits.
