ARRESTS on the Capitol Hill - Black Caucus chair DETAINED during voting rights protest. WATCH!
Congressional Black Caucus Chair Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio) was among 9 people arrested by Capitol Police for an “illegal demonstration” inside a Senate office building - as the group was demanding the an end to the Senate filibuster and the passage of Democrats’ voting rights bills.
The bills are in reaction to the more restrictive voting laws that have been passed by the GOP-controlled states across the country.
Unfortunately this is just theatrics just like the arrests of celebrities for global warming.
